Ex-Offenders and Voting - Alabama

In Alabama, ex-offenders regain the right to vote only after completion of both their prison term and time served on probation and parole, unless they have committed certain offenses that result in permanent loss of voting rights. It is recommended that ex-offenders re-register or update their voter registration upon completion of sentence. For more information on ex-offenders and voting, visit The Brennan Center or The Sentencing Project.
