| Ex-Offenders and Voting - Florida |
|
In Florida, ex-offenders regain the right to vote only after completion of both their prison term and time served on probation and parole, unless they have committed certain offenses that result in permanent loss of voting rights. It is recommended that ex-offenders re-register or update their voter registration upon completion of sentence. For more information on the restoration of voting rights for ex-offenders, contact the Florida State Election office, or visit The Brennan Center or The Sentencing Project.
