Ex-Offenders and Voting - South Dakota
In South Dakota, ex-offenders regain the right to vote only after completion of both time in prison and the terms of their on parole.
Ex-offenders on probation are eligible to vote.
It is recommended that ex-offenders re-register or update their voter registration when they again regain the right to vote.
