| Ex-Offenders and Voting - Tennessee |
|
In Tennessee, ex-offenders only have the chance to regain the right to vote after completion of both their prison term and time spent outside prison on probation and parole. Further, in Tennessee people who have committed certain offenses may be permanently disenfranchised unless their voting right is restored in an appeal process. For more information on ex-offenders and voting, visit The Brennan Center or The Sentencing Project.
