Voter ID - New Hampshire
If you are registered and a first time voter in New Hampshire and did not provide ID documentation with your mail registration, you will need to bring ID when you vote on Election Day.  Acceptable ID includes a copy of:
  • Your current and valid photo ID (driver's license, passport, other government photo ID, etc)
  • Or a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or government document that shows your name and address

If you are already a New Hamphire voter, you do not need to bring an ID. But it is always a good idea to bring ID to the polls when you vote.

Registering on Election Day? If you are not registered and plan to register on Election Day, you must present proof of identity, age, citizenship and residence.  For more information on Election Day Registration in New Hampshire, click here
