Voter ID - Rhode Island

If you are a first-time voter who registered by mail and did not provide ID with registration application, you must have ID at the polls when you vote. Photo and non-photo ID are accepted, including-

A driver’s license or government issued ID (ex: passport, etc)

A copy of a paycheck, bank statement, utility bill, or other government issued document with your name and address on it.

If you are already a Rhode Island voter, you do not need an ID. However it is a good idea to bring ID to the polls when you vote.
