Voter ID - West Virginia
If you are a first-time voter who registered by mail and did not provide ID with registration application, you must have ID at the polls when you vote.  Photo and non-photo ID are accepted, including-
  • A driver’s license or government issued ID (ex: passport, state ID card)
  • A pay stub, bank statement, utility bill, or other government issued document with your name and address on it.
If you are already a West Virginia voter, you do not need an ID. However it is a good idea to bring ID to the polls when you vote.
