Want to register to vote? Follow these four steps:
- 1. Get the form.
- Choose your state from the list above. The link will take you directly to your state's voter registration page. In most states, you will be able to either print your state's form or to request one by mail.
- 2. Fill it out.
- Read the document carefully and double check your information. Items that are frequently forgotten include birth date or including a driver's license number or the last four digits of your social security number.
- 3. Don't forget to sign it!
- Your registration cannot be processed without your signature.
- 4. Mail it back.
- Don't forget to drop your registration form in the mail to your local election office. If an election is approaching, check the registration deadline and make sure you get it in on time.
