- Eligibility to Register to Vote
- In order to be eligible to register to vote in Arkansas, an applicant must:
- Be a United States Citizen
- Reside in Arkansas at least 30 days prior to the first election in which you will vote
- Be at least 18 or turn 18 years old on or before the next election
- Not be presently adjudged as mentally incompetent as to your ability to vote by a court of competent jurisdiction
- Eligibility for Ex-offenders
- Voting rights are automatically restored after completion of sentence including parole and probation. Ex-offenders should re-register to vote.
- Registration Deadline
- Voter registration forms must be submitted by or postmarked 30 days before the election.
