- Eligibility to Register to Vote
- In order to be eligible to register to vote in Colorado, an applicant must:
- Be a United States Citizen
- Be a Colorado resident and have lived in your current precinct for at least 30 days before the election
- Be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of the next election
- Eligibility for Ex-offenders
- Voting rights are automatically restored after the completion of sentence including parole. People on probation can vote. Ex-offenders should re-register to vote.
- Registration Deadline Voter registration forms must be submitted by or postmarked 29 days before the election.
