- Eligibility to Vote
- In order to be eligible to vote in North Dakota, an applicant must:
- Be a United States Citizen
- Reside in North Dakota for at least 30 days preceding the election in the precinct you will be voting in
- Be at least 18 years of age or older on Election Day
- Eligibility for Ex-offenders
- Voting rights are automatically restored after release from prison. People on parole or probation can vote. Ex-offenders should re-register to vote.
- Registration Deadline
- North Dakota does not have voter registration.
