At Nonprofit VOTE, we believe nonprofits are uniquely positioned to engage the people that they serve in the democratic process. That’s why we’ve created “Nonprofits Countdown to the Election.” In this resource you can expect to find templates for various platforms, extra resources, graphics, and other information you need to share information about the election with the people your nonprofit serves.

Many nonprofits, like yours, believe that voter engagement is a critical part of furthering their mission. However, nonprofits do not always have the capacity to build robust programs to mobilize their members, clients, or community members. In light of how COVID-19 is shaping our work, and with many nonprofits at maximum capacity, this problem is even more prevalent in 2020.

To meet the needs of our nonprofit partners, we developed “Nonprofits Countdown to the Election” in an effort to make engaging potential voters do-able and simple for all nonprofits interested in sharing accurate election information. The countdown starts 12 weeks out and provides timely, relevant templates (email, social, letter, etc.) covering all the tools a potential voter needs to cast a ballot including voter registration, education, and turnout. Each week, you can visit our website and copy and paste the templates most useful for sharing information with your voters.
