Since 2006, Nonprofit VOTE has provided nonpartisan resources to help nonprofits integrate voter engagement into their ongoing activities and services. In doing so, we work to promote higher voter and civic participation, especially among populations new to the process or with a recent history of lower voter turnout.

Nonprofits are uniquely and ideally positioned to effectively engage their staff and the communities in democracy. Nonprofit VOTE works to ensure nonprofits have the information needed to advance our democracy for and by all.

We are always seeking national, state, or regional service-based nonprofits to join us as partners in voter engagement. Now is the perfect time to join in making sure democracy is accessible to everyone.

What we expect from our partners

• Believe democracy should be accessible to all
• Ready to engage staff, clients, members, and community stakeholders in the democratic process
• Identify as a 501(C)(3) that is a…
  • service-based, nonpartisan nonprofit organization;
  • national nonpartisan nonprofit organization with local affiliates or members; and/or
  • state or regional nonpartisan nonprofit organization with local affiliates or broad reach within a given state or region
• Would benefit from direct assistance in planning and implementing voter engagement activities
