Created in collaboration between Nonprofit VOTE and the U.S. Elections Project, the “America Goes to the Polls 2020“ report digs deep into data supplied by all 50 states, to not only rank them by their official voter turnout numbers but also examine how policies like Same Day Registration and Vote at Home, which many states expanded in light of the pandemic, made an impact on the U.S. electorate.
Throughout this webinar, we worked to paint a general picture of these various election policies explaining what they are, what their effect may be on future cycles, and how organizations like yours can advocate for their further implementation.
Special thanks to guest speakers, Dr. Michael McDonald, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Florida and founder of the U.S Elections Project, and Caroline Mak, Research and Field Coordinator here at Nonprofit VOTE, for sharing their knowledge and expertise.
