Webinar

Voter Turnout in the 2022 Midterms

Last Updated: February 27, 2026

This webinar reviews turnout trends from the 2022 midterm elections to help nonprofits learn what worked and what didn’t in engaging voters. It offers data and reflections that can inform future nonpartisan engagement efforts.
Voter Turnout in the 2022 Midterms

This year’s Midterm elections were the first national election to take place following the aftermath of 2020. Since then, many states have introduced new rules that pertain to all aspects of the voting process.

Throughout this webinar, we looked at post-election data and analyzed voter turnout trends seen during the 2022 midterm elections.

Special thanks to guest speakers, Dr. Michael McDonald, of the University of Florida and the U.S. Elections Project, and Peter De Guzman and Kelly Siegel-Stechler of the Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement, for sharing their knowledge and expertise.
