The Foraker Group
The Foraker Group serves as Alaska’s nonprofit association and capacity building organization. We are dedicated to increasing the leadership and management skills of professionals and volunteers through an innovative approach focused on the Foraker Nonprofit Sustainability Model. As a leader, catalyst, convener, and partner, we serve all types of nonprofits and tribes and actively work with governments and the for-profit sector to help bridge the interests of diverse groups across the state. We connect with policymakers, businesses, and other organizations to highlight the positive impacts nonprofits have on our state. Foraker is noted for our work to position the sector as a credible nonpartisan/bipartisan voice for Alaska’s nonprofits by advocating, conducting research, monitoring trends, convening, and providing training.
