Webinar: How Your Nonprofit Can Host a Phone or Text Bank to Reach Voters

Last Updated: February 27, 2026

This resource explains how nonprofits can organize and run nonpartisan phone or text banking to connect with community members about voting. It outlines the key components of successful outreach and offers practical tips for planning and training.
Webinar: How Your Nonprofit Can Host a Phone or Text Bank to Reach Voters

As you know, reaching voters via phone or text is more effective than mailers and emails, and it can be a safe and viable alternative to hosting in-person events. It’s also a tactic that your staff and volunteers can really enjoy as they get to interact directly with voters, providing reminders about upcoming elections and answering voter questions.

In this webinar, we discussed the process of setting up your GOTV operation and uplifted templates and other resources that can make phone and/or text banking easy!

Special thanks to guest speakers: Caitlin Donnelly, Caroline Mak (Nonprofit VOTE), and Ahmed Butt (the Asian American Federation) for sharing their knowledge and expertise.
